Stay Connected with Your School – Use Peachjar!

How do you stay connected to your school? Is it through social media, by phone, or through the school website? There are many ways to find out not only what’s happening at your school, but in your community as well.

In the past, our schools were asked to send home numerous flyers at the request of community organizations. Flyers were often stuffed into students’ backpacks, and were both an administrative and environmental burden. At our central offices, we received hundreds of requests from organizations looking for help to promote their event or offering. When it became too much to handle, and as part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, we streamlined community sharing of information and moved to a digital flyer delivery system – Peachjar eFlyers.

With our Peachjar eFlyer program, community information is available in three ways.

  1. Sent directly as an email to parents who have subscribed to notifications.
  2. Accessed on school websites by clicking the Peachjar eFlyer button on the home page.
  3. Accessed through our district app by clicking the ‘community’ button.

Each year, our schools will save tons of paper and reduce copy costs. In addition, paperless delivery of school flyers removes a significant administrative burden for teachers, office staff, and volunteers. School and school district-approved eFlyers will keep you informed about upcoming school activities, programs, and events. And, our children’s backpacks will be a little lighter, too!
