Riverside Public School

School Mission
We are a community of life-long learners who work together to respect our different economic, cultural, and physical needs. Identifying the needs of the students and meeting the needs appropriately are always the first and foremost goals.

School History
Riverside Public School is located in the Brunel community near Huntsville. The original Riverside school at this site was built in 1968. It was a two-room school with grades 3 to 8. The current building has been in operation since fall 1993.

General Information
Riverside PS is fortunate to have 55 acres of land adjacent to the school which has been developed into cross country ski trails, orienteering course,  archaeological dig site, and a sugar bush.

Parent Participation
Riverside PS enjoys a healthy partnership with the School Council. Parent and seniors from the community provide a valuable service to our school by volunteering to help in any way they can.
