The Best in Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) competitions continue across the board!
On March 22, elementary students teamed up and travelled to JD Hodgson Elementary School. Each team was given an outline for their build, which they had to complete within the given timeline.
Grade 4 to 6 students competed in technology, where they designed and built a marshmallow launcher.
Grade 7 and 8 students also competed in technology and built a car and a ramp. Other competitions that took place within this grade level included construction, where students built a house; green industry, building a wind turbine; and health and safety, where students learned about the importance of safety in the workplace and designed a poster.
