Students at Woodville Elementary School are giving back to their community. The grade eight girls hand made bracelets and raised a total of $182 dollars.

Henny Venus, Executive Director of the Humane Society, came to the school with Shilo his rescued dog to thank students and accept their donation. The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes ensures every animal has a good quality of life with caring, responsible, and knowledgeable owners, and are free from the fear of abuse, neglect, and ignorance.

By establishing partnerships within the community, Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, a charitable organization, is dedicated to providing leadership in the protection and provision of the humane care and treatment of all animals, enforcement of protection laws, and education of the public.

Way to go Woodville ES!
