From May 22 to May 27, 2016, 309 students and 35 staff members came together in Haliburton for Trillium Lakelands Arts Camp (TLAC). TLAC takes place over five days and offers specialized instruction for Music, Drama, Musical Theatre, Dance, and Visual Arts within an exciting camp experience. This year, courses included band, pop ensemble, Photoshop, painting, filmmaking, sculpture, claymation, animation, pottery, zumba, survival, and various sporting activities.

Twenty-six students enrolled in Musical Theatre, which was directed by HUB Productions and worked to produce a Mary Poppins show. There were performances and presentations by Dan Busby (danbusby.ca), Tribal Vision, Maderaz Latin Music (maderaz.com), Leslie McCurdy (lesliemccurdy.ca), Noelia Marziali (noeliamarziali.com), Tiffany Howe (howecreative.ca), Phoenix Music Ensemble, and FOG Brass Band (rebeccahennessy.com/fog).
