What are Professional Activity days?
Professional Activity (PA) days are days within the school year provided for staff to increase their knowledge, further upgrade their skills, and become familiar with new technology, new initiatives, and new programs. Students do not attend school on PA days.
In Trillium Lakelands DSB there are PA days specifically for elementary school staff and other PA days specifically for secondary school staff. Some PA days are designated for both elementary and secondary school staff.
