SUPPLY EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANTS
- Child and Youth Worker Diploma, D.S.W., E.C.E. or E.A. Diploma … OR … a College Diploma or
University Degree, plus experience working with elementary or secondary age students or individuals
with special needs and/or behavioural difficulties
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others
- A sensitivity to the individual needs of children
- Non Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and/or Behaviour Management Systems (BMS)
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift
- Own transportation
- First Aid and C.P.R. is an asset

Prior to any applicant being accepted for a Supply Educational Assistant position, the candidate will be required to demonstrate to the Trillium Lakelands District School Board that they have the ability to perform the bona fide essential duties of the job. Potential candidates must agree to complete the physical abilities pre-employment screening test at a service provider contracted by the TLDSB. All job offers are conditional on the candidate passing all components of this test.
Note: There will be no contract of service with Trillium Lakelands District School Board prior to the candidate’s passing the requirements of the Board-approved physical testing.
Hours of Work: 7 hours per day, Monday – Friday
Hourly Rate: $20.32
