LINDSAY, ON – Trillium Lakelands District School Board student trustee for the 2012-2013 school year was elected on April 27, 2012, at the Group of Seven Student Leadership Conference. Hana Ready, the newly elected 2012-2013 Group of Seven representative for Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute (LCVI) was chosen by incoming and outgoing Group of Seven representatives.

LINDSAY, ON – On Monday, June 4, 2012 secondary school students from across Trillium Lakelands District School Board will be participating in a new initiative, Better Together Day. This event is organized by the Group of Seven to unite all seven secondary schools from City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton, and Muskoka.

LINDSAY, ON – Aboriginal female entertainer of the year, Shy-Anne Hovorka, and former Lieutenant-Governor James Bartleman are the keynote presenters at the 2012 fifth Annual Aboriginal Symposium on Thursday May 24, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Rene M. Caisse Theatre in Bracebridge. This First Nation, Métis, and Inuit education event is in support of the Trillium Lakelands District School Board Guiding the Way initiative.
