This is an exciting time in public education, and as we move forward, we will continue to focus our efforts on improving individual student achievement. We have a special responsibility in opening doors for students and providing them with the ability to make choices about where they will go when they leave us. To this end, we are proud of the support we provide our students with special needs, our work in literacy and numeracy skill acquisition, and outstanding secondary school programming that allows students to follow a variety of pathways. Additionally, we have been able to enhance the level of support we can provide for students who may be at risk of not completing their secondary school education, and our success rates continue to rise.

As a system, we also continue to focus our efforts in developing our students academically, but also socially as we work with parents and community partners to prepare future leaders and citizens of our communities. With this in mind, we continue to strive to provide safe and caring school environments, where students are given multiple opportunities to develop habits of good character and social responsibility.

We realize that whatever we endeavour to do for our students cannot necessarily be successful without the ongoing support of our parents, community members, and organizations, and for this support, we are grateful.
