With only 53 students collecting pledges this year they reached that milestone. This year alone they gathered $4269.70 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation! With this incredible amount collected for 2011, Watt has exceeded gathering $50,000 in the past 15 years. For a small community school of 120 students, Watt has shown that it is not the size of your building that counts but the size of your heart.

For the past 15 years, Watt Public School has been holding their annual Jump Rope for Heart. This year, with the knowledge that with a little extra effort they would reach a milestone, the students worked diligently at drumming up donations.
